Past performances available for all 6 races in the pick 6 at Hollywood on the NTRA website and for the 4th, 5th, 6th and 9th races at Aqueduct as part of the NTRA qualifier for the big contest in Las Vegas.

I infrequently delve into Hollywood (any Cali racing), but I can see why their pick 6 carries so frequently. You could go 3 deep in every race and still not come close. However, here is my semi-realistic stab:
Race 5: 1 La Mina 9 Sea Chanter 10 Runforthemoneybaby Race 6: 6 Topanga Canyon 10 Romanced (8 Smokey Route, who I like but probably won't use in P6) Race 7: 7 Lightmyfirebaby 9 Tayla Renee 10 Queen of the Castle Race 8: 6 Curiously Sweet 5 Sports Edition 8 Down (think he's a vulnerable fav, but tough to leave out) Race 9: 2 Council Member 5 Bonfante 4 Quietly Mine Race 10: 7 PT's Grey Eagle 6 New Rule $648 ticket (which I can't afford to play), so I will have to take out some horses for my actual wager. |

If you don't have enough money to play the Pick 6 well, why not just play the Pick 4? On a recent carryover, it was almost $9000.

. I should have written that I would choose not to put in a $648 ticket, as opposed to not being able to afford to. Not following Hollywood Park, that "investment" would be even more questionable then my ususal "investments" at Aqueduct and CD. The pick 4 is a good alternative. |
