I enjoy the clubhouse, and I love being on the turn at the top of the stretch pinic area. Those are my two favorite places. However, out back with a big group of people is fun too.

I'm a bar fly and a rail bird.

I like to be as close to the horses as I can get. I don't need a clubhouse seat.

same here.. i like to be outside at the top of the stretch or several yards down from the top of the stretch where I can see the horse and the moves they are making.. can always watch replays later.

I have come up with more winners watching from that vantage point than any other method of handicapping

Paddock...then to clubhouse to watch the races. Between races a quick pit stop at Byks for some refueling on BBQ and Diet Cokes!

When the PA guys are there...spend time in Festival Tent they reserve and always spend one day watching and betting from the backstretch 6 F start area with SUV and food/drinks.

Backyard Party...I've had horrible luck at the Top O'the Stretch...even though it is a great vantage point.

Backyard...near the path to watch to horsies go by...visit Phonsey for a Vodka /Tonic at the JD...hit the rail for a race...hit some BBQ...back to the beer in the backyard...repeat as often as necessary...finish the day at Filiberto's!!!

Anywhere "on track" .....the farther away from Yakk & "Mr.Pletcher" Kramer, the better!

The only knock on Saratoga is the seating. You have to fork out good money to get seats. They aren't worth it. The backyard always seems to be more fun anyway. It beats Churchill in the summer though.

The paddock is my favorite place. Club house rarely.

The one I go to usually has the bearded lady working at one of the two registers. I try and go to the other register.

Are you talking about my "gender conflicted" cousin Lester? He doesn't like to shave, and most of the relatives call him Klinger. Legs to die for though, if only he'd shave them!

Favorite spot to watch...a box

Favorite spot at the track overall...along the path to watch the horses walk to the paddock.
