Default Favorite Funny Cide Memory

First, let me say I like Funny Cide. I like his owners, and I like his trainer. I think the horse was good for the sport. But he cost me a lot of money on two different occasions.

1) 2003 Kentucky Derby: I bet heavily on Empire Maker, and I made all of it back and then some on the Belmont. But still, Funny Cide cost me money thatday.

2) 2000-whatever Jockey Club Gold Cup- I had a large win bet on Newfoundland at long odds, and an NTRA National Pick 4 with Newfoundland that would have paid $2300 (I think). Newfoundland ran 2nd.

All in all, I would day that Funny Cide cost me between $4k and $5k, not considering the fact the Empire Maker's odds were inflated by Funny Cide's presence in the Belmont.
