Default 4/26: Hollywood P6 ($100k Carry)

Anyone playing that would care to share their opinions.

Here are mine.

Leg A - I like the Fantastic Spain here. She has a nice record over the turf at Hollywood. However, all 6 of these horses has a shot at winning. I dont want to go all so I am also going to focus on Dealers Choice. So it is the 1 and 5 horse for me in this one.

Leg B - The entry is a nice option. But I like the 7,9 and 10 as well. Nice deep field here. So my picks are the 1,7,9 and 10

Leg C - Another tough field. For me it is either all or a single. I am going to go with a single here to keep the ticket reasonable. My single is Squeeze Me Tight. I wish I could add a few more like the 1 and the 6 but I would like to keep the ticket cheap. So my choise is the 5 horse.

Leg D - I really like the 8 here (Steve's Little Girl). I think she has good back class and decent speed figures. She has a chance to shake the pick 6 up a little since she is m/l 10-1. I am going to use Bernina Beauty (3 horse) as well. So it is 3 and 8 for me.

Leg E - I like the 1 Soul City Slew. He is my fav pick of the day outside of the 8 in Leg D. I think he closes to win today. He has won 3 of his last 5 and placed in the other 2, is in good form, likes the surface and hopefully will get the job done. So it is the 1 horse for me.

Leg F- Neutrality is the one for me. The 12 horse is making her 2nd off a layoff, drops in class and hooks a pretty weak field. If I make it this far I am happy with a single in the 12 horse.

My ticket looks like this so far. I got a 3 other investors so we are going to put in $60 each.

$240 dollar ticket.

6)3 I like the #8 a bit in here as well, but Knapp is horrible so I am staying away
7)2,6
8)9,12

$216 Might single the 12 in the 8th to get it down to $108
Root, you won 10K yesterday and you're trying to save money? Granted, if the 12 doesn't win the last race, it's probably going to be some longshot b.s.

The day after a big score I always try to keep my head on and not go crazy. Trying not spend more then I typcially would. I did change it up a bit, and I am going to have to spend the $216

Interesting changes....

I would be trying to hit this too, but 1) I'm stuck at work and 2) I'm an idiot. I just put some money into a new betting account because they now carry Churchill. I thought they also carried Hollywood Park (which was owned by Churchill Downs for a while). Wrong! So here I am, stuck with 40 cents in my TVG account.

Good luck to all!

Yeah he is looking good. Three deep in the 7th and the two most logical horses in the 8th. But lets cheer for the 1 horse here in the 7th .

Wow--never would have that 4 horse. Is there a possibility of a carryover in the pick 6 tomorrow?

That is what I am thinking Root. This was a difficult pick 6 to have for the biggest of payrolls.
