Oaklawn was favoring early speed in a serious way. Deadly Dealer only faded to 3rd after Curlin walked past him.

Yesterday made me feel like a complete idiot. I should get my head examined.

Not that it mattered much but Quinonez rode this horse about as bad as possible. I thought he rode poorly last time but yesterday he really out did himself. Not that he had a chance to win but it was a huge purse and they do pay out for 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th.
