sire and dam with same name!
I just read in "Bloodstock Journal" that the winner of yesterday's 6th at Santa Anita, Musical Echo, is sired by Distant Music out of Distant Music. That's right, mom and pop have the same name, hence the apropos naming of "Musical Echo".

guess it could happen alot if you wanted to make it happen... US bred versus GB bred... the jocks clubs are completely different so you could do it..
