![]() No. Johnny V is the man still for Pletcher. Gomez rides the West Coast stock and since Pletcher sent most of the Tabor horses to CA, GoGo has ridden all of them. Apparently GoGo will ride for Todd at Keeneland then maybe he'll be back in NY. Gomez can make it in NY w/out Todd, the guy is incredible in my opinion.

![]() Gomez did a great job for Pletcher when Johnny V. was out. I am sure that might have had something to do with Johnny healing faster than usual, LOL. Anyway, Gomez will be going to KY to ride for Pletcher. It's an excellent strategic move. Johnny V., eventually, can only ride one colt for Pletcher in the Classics -- if he get there of course. This move also puts Gomez in the middle of the fray, not just in the CA market. You've got trainers from all over the North America heading to KY and there is a lot of business that can be picked up.
Johnny V. has got one monster edge, besides of course being a great jock -- and that's Angel. Gomez on the other hand has a monster edge as well, besides being a great jock -- and that's Ron Anderson. Eric |

![]() Gomez is a better finisher. He gets a horse in more trouble, but hes stronger.
They are both fantastic.

![]() Gomez hits at a higher clip with Pletcher and would dominate JV's a s s. Even when Gomez stayed at Saratoga last year he rode 2nd call for pletcher rode less horses than JV but still won way more races. JV looked good for so long cause the stock he rode for Pletcher and when Gomez went East for Pletcher he exposed that fact

![]() i saw gomez ride all summer at saratoga, i missed 3 days the whole meet, he is a very good rider, but he does get horses in trouble alot, he also tends to move early and then be empty late.
