Don't know...but I'll ask tomorrow. Not sure they would cut him back to one turn.

you gotta think he is pointed that horse to the big races at Gulfstream, I doubt that 1M race is in the works. I actually think he has a decent shot in the Donn if he runs him there.....

Yeah, both are looking at another target, and I actually think Hesanoldsalt will turn into a good older horse...he has some grit to him

See I think there is plenty of time between the Donn and the World Cup that I think they will absolutely be cranked up for both. The Donn isn't a bad race to have on the stallion resume or the HOY resume so I think both will be very close to their best for the Donn.

well I don't think that Hesanoldsalt is as good as Invasor, so as long as they avoid him, I think they will win some Grade 1's with him....

I root for him, and he's a nice horse, but he needs to really improve to race competitively with those horses. I guess you can always take a shot in a race like the Donn, as many are using it as a World Cup prep, and it's good to sometimes get an idea where you're at.

We'll see. I'll ask.

Know who else is planning to run in this one besides Strong Contender? I know it is hyped as SNS v Strong Contender, but those are the only two I have heard at this point. Or are those two keeping anyone else away. Just curious if any other interesting possibilities will show up??

Not sure, but from the list of nominations, a few of the more recognizable names include Einstein (isn't he a turf horse?), Private Vow (isn't he retired yet ?), Sir Greeley and Yes, Yes, Yes.

Sir Greeley is just the horse to expose Strong Pretender for the fraud he is. At that point all his goo-goos will either have to acknowledge Sir Greeley as a top horse or that they were wrong about Strong Pretender. Win-win for me either way.

Yeah...but he will be smoked by SNS regardless of what Strong con (pre) tender does.

We'll see, it is Sir Greeley's best distance and third race off the layoff. SNS had better live up to your expectations to win here.

He will become a monstrosity this year. He'll be so good, Invasor will be forgotten by May!! (He can run anything, but I have a hunch 8f just may be SNS's best distance as well.) I'm setting myself up for some big crow come Jan 6th I can feel it!!

If Assmusen has Private Vow ready beware. This horse was a serious contender last yea. After the failure in Quest for the roses he has been pu out . A year of maturity could realy show up with this horse that showed a lot of early ability.
