Default Most Lousy Jockeys of 2006. POLL!!!

While we're ending a rollercoaster year in racing......please state your top three lousy Jockeys of the year. Then of the three please state your "Most Disappointing Jockey Of the Year". I think this should be an award in my own opinion!!! Boy, I can't wait to hear the nominees!!!!!

No problem Hooves It's just that this was a very frustrating year amongst our stable. I hate to "drop names" but we had a rather TINY jock who couldn't seem to follow directions all the time. It burn't all the horseman in the barn up! I can say this is probably why I started this thread to begin with. However, I do know IT'S NOT ALWAYS THE JOCK!!!! But when you have a 5' 100 pound jock that doesn't EVER try to build any upper body mass and never reads the form or study his opponents....it eats you alive. There isn't any drive as "Laffit" had in the day. I guess that as well as everything else has gone to the wayside in horse racing!!!

Big time and Juvy Diaz should NEVER be used in the same sentence. He was good at Arlington though

If you think Flores has ridden the 2nd half of the Hwd meet anywhere near the same as he rode in the 1st half of the meet, then you're delusional. The guy has been stuck on 13 wins at the meet for a while.Hooves, they gotta have the horse, but they can sure f it up when they do have it.There is no lack of talent with this guy.No way. No,when this guy is confident(and things are clicking) he is one of the best riders in the world. This guy can fall into a funk, and he seems to really struggle to come out of it.Everything seemed to change for this guy on November 24th in the 3rd race.He hasn't been the same since that hideous ride on Optari in the Generous Stakes. That ride on Marked Warrior last Saturday was simply pathetic. This has to be the most inconsistent rider in the country. Both rides were on horses trained by Chatlos.A tough meet for Don.

The three lousiest jocks? This is easy. There was a stakes Desormeaux won on the Delta Jackpot Card(2 races before the big race.)There were two fools that set that thing up for him by totally destroying their horses up front in that race. Then,in the Delta Jackpot, some guy totally quarterhorsed his horse to the front, and set a pace that no horse could survive.Whoever those guys were, they are by far the worst, and the guy who ruined his horse up front in the D JACKPOT is the most disappointing jockey of the year. All Louisiana based jocks(I think.)I'LL leave it at that.Very bad riding that night.

Beech riding style is a sight to behold. You have to wonder what the
horse is thinking when this guy riding him. Poor horse.

The jockey in Delta Jackpot was Jamie Theriot on a horse for
vacationing Cole Norman.

In Kent D's race one jockey I Know was Donnie Meche on

No order

Robbie Albarado, I despise the man as a jock. He gets horses beat, and I can never catch the guy.

Chantal Sutherland, an easy target, and an obvious one. But in all reality, she isn't really a good jock, plain and simple. She's hot, but she can't ride a lick.

Kent D., besides being an ass hole, I can't stand the guy as a rider.

My most disappointing was, and always has been Jose Santos. For some reason the guy always seems to be on a horse I like, and I just can not get him home.
I always refer to him as Jamaican beef patty maan.

We should start a thread, 2006 Most Memorable Moments (good and bad) of Kent D.

There are only five riders EVER who have a positive R.O.I. while racing on turf.

Two of them are Kent Desormeaux and Robbie Albarado! BBB
