Default Anybody have a strong opinion on NFL?

Im in a weekely pool/club and after the halfway point of the season I was my typical .500, 64-64. I looked at the chart on the wall and decided I had a better chance of getting last place than top 6, prize for last place is very good.
So I turned my picks around trying to get losers and have been on fire going 4-12, 5-11, and 5-11 the last 3 weeks. I'm only 7 behind the last place guy with the last 5 weeks to go and correctly took the ravens as a loser last night.
Anybody got any real good games that they like this week?

You use spreads or play straight up? I just checked the spreads for this week and this is what I would recomend:

Cowboys -3.5 over the Giants (Giants are all done, Cowboys just getting started)

Chiefs -5 over the Browns (My bias aside, we will wreck this team. Spread should be 10)

Patriots -13.5 over the Lions (Will be a massacre)

Seahawks +3.5 over the Broncos (I think they win outright)

Titans +7.5 over the Colts (I think they win outright, Yes call me crazy but I love last week's comeback against the Giants)

I'll chime in Mike, with the lines - here's what looks good to me this week:
I'll rank them in "confidence" order with 16 being the best and 1 the worst.

16 - Chiefs -5 over BROWNS
15 - Jets -1 over PACKERS
14 - Colts -7.5 over TITANS
13 - SAINTS -7 over 49ers
12 - Falcons +5 over REDSKINS
11- Seahawks +4 over BRONCOS
10- DOLPHINS - 2.5 over Jaguars
9 - PATRIOTS -13.5 over Lions
8 - BEARS -10 over Vikings
7 - BILLS +5.5 over Chargers
6 - Cardinals +6.5 over RAMS
5 - STEELERS - 8.5 over Bucs
4 - Cowboys -3.5 over GIANTS
3 - Panthers - 3 over EAGLES
2 - Texans +3 over RAIDERS
1 - Ravens +3 over BENGALS (wrong!)

Good luck in your pool, I'm still leading by 1 win in my "straight up" pool with 116 winners for the year, but it's been tight!

I think he makes it until the end of the season and is gone. Thinking the Giants will be lucky to go 1-3 to end the year. Count the Cowboys and Panthers as wins. They'll struggle against the Redskins too.

Cowboys should handle them. Romo is the real deal. Great thinker. Like Tom Brady....but not that good!

Average week with the lines - not the best straight up,
I was REALLY counting on both the CHIEFS & COLTS.
8-7-1 and 10-6 straight up, lead Straight Up Pool by two games over 2nd place going into wk.14

After what ive seen, i dont think you have to turn your picks around to find losers.

Where to start? Crummy weekend, our team let a huge game slip away, we deserve to lose if we have to rely on overtime to beat the Browns. Still alive for a playoff birth. My college loses a chance to play for the Natl Title. Only good thing was I couldnt watch the game, was involved in a 6 hour practice session/tape watching during that time. Next weekend it will be 12 hours!

Went 2-3 against the spread, narrowly missing the Cowboys-Giants. Have to gloat about my pick of the Titans outright beating the Colts. Did not surprise me 1 bit.

Cowboys -3.5 over the Giants (Giants are all done, Cowboys just getting started)

Chiefs -5 over the Browns (My bias aside, we will wreck this team. Spread should be 10)

Patriots -13.5 over the Lions (Will be a massacre)
