Venue for August 16 - Saratoga for Alabama Day

I'd like to take our small band of horseplayers back to Saratoga this Saturday for Alabama Day. We will be playing the full 12 race card that has a first post of 12:35 PM Eastern.

I have to admit that the Alabama has been one of my favorite races ever since we went to Saratoga for the first time in 1990 and witnessed the speed and beauty of Go For Wand winning the Alabama. Both my wife and I were hooked on the spot. There have been a number of very talented Alabama winners over the years since then, including Versailles Treaty, November Snow, Sky Beauty, Silverbulletday, Royal Delta, Princess of Sylmar and Songbird to name a few. Hopefully this year's version will provide another memorable filly to add to that list.
