Since Iraq has now become a civil war, there really is not much that our military can do to stabalize the situation. I think our troops should redeploy to a nearby country. DTS |

![]() Kev,
I respect your voice, and I'd like to know what you think is the best course, as it seems that even our leader has repudiated his "stay the course" posture. If you take the time to read this, you might see a historical context for the continuing mentality. http://www.commondreams.org/views06/1126-27.htm I await your comments and proposal for a beneficial outcome. ![]() Kev,
I like a good chess game. I have since I was a young man. It's all about the "learning". If you take the time to read this, you might find, as I have, that winning in chess involves planning. Even then, sometimes a loss happens. Therein the best lesson. Now that the British are about to pull their troops out, it seems to me that there are lessons about playing chess that need to be addressed. This is from the Guardian, UK. http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,,1957915,00.html And, yes, I still "play" chess. Actually, I'm getting better at it. After a lifetime of enjoying the thrill, and defeating many that have no clue about the moves to make, I do get defeated on that board at times. At least no blood is shed. Sad to say, the "game" now being played isn't well planned, nor without blood. In chess, the best lessons are in defeat. I hope those that are "playing" admit theirs, and learn. |

Honestly Wayne...I will refrain. A few years ago I would have sat here all night and debated with you on the semantics of this war....and the whole dialouge would have led nowhere. I have no desire for that anymore. I respect your right to read what your prefer and believe what you want and I know you will extend me the same courtesy. |

This will take a bit of your time to read. Iran and North Korea aren't in the plans. They're "outside". The only was to begin a course of "healing" is to take care of the blockage in the "inside". Take the time to read it. http://www.alternet.org/rights/44815/ |
