Default ROI Results 3/21 @ Fair Grounds

The final card of the Fair Grounds meet was not too kind. There were only two tickets cashed
and one player to hit the board and collect points. NJ Stinks cashed a ticket in race 8 and
the exacta paid $20.70 which left him a little short of profitability. Real Quiet takes the ROI
win with an exacta in race 7 which paid $22.70 for each of his 11 tickets. Following are the
unofficial results pending any objections. Hope to see you all next week if a horseracing
venue can be found in these crazy times. Stay safe and in good health.

WIN... Real Quiet... +$161.70... R7 $11 ex key 7 w 1-3-12 $22.70 X 11... $249.70

NJ Stinks -$17.20 R 8: $4 ex backwheel 8-2 $20.70 X 4... $82.80

Don Guido -$96.00

Roamin -$100.00

Joly B -$100.00

Cal828 -$100.00

Indian Hemp -$100.00

Ruffian -$100.00

Plenilune -$100.00

Congrats to you Real Quiet for winning both parts of our contests on an unforgiving Fair Grounds card. Take care of yourself and your family and we will see what next Saturday has in store.

Good play RQ. It's good that we all are carrying on without any loss in participants. We may be down, but at least we're not out and this too shall pass. I'm going to venture out today to gets some meds and to see whether the stores still have a few items for purchase that the hoarders haven't yet spotted. Stay safe everybody. I went to the store a couple of days ago and got some milk. Absolutely have to have milk with my Honey Nut Cheerios every morning. Gave the milk container a bath in Pine Sol which will kill anything. Matter of fact, if I get too exposed to the fumes it puts off, I start wheezing. Found out later warm tap water will do the same thing.

Just a few observations about my wager and the Contest on Saturday:

1. I think track announcer John Dooley thought my pick Altea won the photo. When Altea didn't....

2. The blinking lights were my next concern. Watching the head-on, I was not sure if Altea would be disqualified. Then I saw Chad Brown's name next to Altea's and was 95% sure this horse was not coming down. Shouldn't be that way but it is.

3. Last but not least I needed a decent exacta payoff. Not happening....

Anyway, it was a well-deserved to win by Real Quiet on Saturday. The man hit the trifecta in his race for crying out loud!

Well done, RQ.
