![]() Saddened to hear that Manny Ycaza, as fierce a competitor as seen in the modern era, passed Monday at 80. A riding legend whose career was abbreviated as injuries mounted, Ycaza helped pave the way for Latinos in the U.S. and was a swashbuckling terror whose aplomb on mid-century Hall of Fame horses is indelibly etched in the game's history. RIP.
