Default JC registration/pedigree help?

I'm somewhat active on a FB group for Rockingham Park, and members post lots of win pictures there.

So many of the horses' names don';t show up on Equibase or pedigreequery or even at the JC naming registry.

These were legit TBs as far as I can tell...sires are familiar (if not spectacular).

Why could this be?

Believe the EQB records on searches only go back to 1998 and the RKM records may be spotty or unavailable.

Brisnet's Chart Archive (http://www.brisnet.com/cgi-bin/archi...f.cgi?type=arc) and Lifetime PP's should be better for you.

Toss out a few names and I'll do a search.

Pedigree Query depends on people adding horses which anybody can do but someone has to know there's a gap in the database info. If you know the dam + birth year or the horse's name, when it comes to getting enough to add a horse on PQ, you can usually get the sire/dam/bm sire, place of birth info from here: https://members.breederscup.com/nomi...igibility.aspx Make sure it's the right horse if there are several listed for that name otherwise PQ's entries get tangled up because someone picked the wrong mare for the dam then added progeny.

Not to hi-jack the thread, my wife had a retired horse she fox hunted with,

Horses name was Grace's Dare, any help with pedigree, PPs, or other would be great

Guessing she raced at GSP or other NJ, Del, PA or MD tracks in the early 70s

Some I have traced to errors by the track photog. But here's 3 from a RKM race in 1968:

Wace
Dooberg's Dare
Chere Charlene

Oh and I'm not even looking for charts or results...basically I'm seeing all of these old win pics posted and I'm curious mostly about pedigree.
