Default You win....you are in

I like this new concept by the BC people. I think it will help fields in those designated races. I would like to see the BC work with tracks to try and to get better fields for the major races in North America.

I don't see why it will change the fields much. Anyone knew if they beat Bernardini in the JCGC that they would have had a spot in the BC Classic wrapped up but still no one chose to run there. I think it will make a huge difference in the marketing of the sport and that is a gigantic plus for the sport. Plus getting the tracks to cooperate in shifting their schedules around is another big step in the right direction.

I think this concept is stupid, and the marketing of the Breeders Cup as some kind of thoroughbred Olympics or some championship event is just plain wrong. These horses who race cant be judged on one race, we all know KY Derbies, BC races are some of the most unpredictable races, more often than not the best horse will not win. Then say if a horse like Super Frolic happens to win the Classic are we then to deem him a "champion"? I surely hope not.

I'd say yes because he'd be doing it just hours after running in the MILE!!

Inter track and interstate cooperation is the big thing.
