Default Simon Bray vs Nic Hines

Hines has been taking shots at Bray all day, is this all in good fun or are things getting tense with them

I have not been watching. I am guessing Bray is Bernardini and Hines is Lava Man.

Well if that's what they're fighting over then i'm going to e-mail Hines and tell him that if Bray was training Bernardini he'd run off the board in the classic. The guy couldn't compete with Paulson's stock.

Simon Bray is one of the best horsemen in the world, its a shame he isnt training right now.

He had not only Paulson's stock, but some from the Thoroughbred Corp

Yeah he's one of the best ever and a great analyst to boot. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have him to tell me when a horse is getting hot. I'm blind, you know.

I thought Astra and Azeri were winners with Bray.

Seattle,
come on man.

this guy would still be training if that were true.
losing him from the trainer ranks was no great loss for socal racing.

I heard it was serious...word is that Hiens sincerely dislikes Bray for wahtever reason...TVG will allow it to go on as long as it remains civil because i is good TV...just look back at how much buzz the constant Amoss/Gary Stevens squables got around Derby time....I was there and I know Tom and that was not fake either.....

Bray was a pretty good trainer. You dont work for Mott that long without having talent. Then you dont get the horses he did when he went on his own. When you are a commentator if you have to talk to the beginners of the sport as well. Bray left training for health and personal reasons. The man has all the money he needs to he didnt need the headache.
