![]() Race 1:
#3 Ground Force: Vet SCR during Belmont week but has worked normally for Servis since. Rolls if he's OK. Race 2: #2 Anna Rae: Love the Tiz Wonderful 2yo debutants. Junior Englehart does okay debuting the babies in MCLers. Early foot shows from the 48.3 gate workout and inside speed has been deadly. #4 Steve's Philly: Consistent works for the Martin FTS who's bred to win early and has some class further back on the dam's side. #7 Bottle Walk #1 Dubb/Rodriguez Entry Race 3: #8 Queen of the Spa: Feel it's not easy to claim from Loza Jr but Gullo is more than capable. Nothing wrong with her race here last year and the aptly named runner may just intuitively know to run well here. #7 Heaven's Touch: Speed will help and not looking too much at her last when ridden by a new 10lbs bug who is yet to hit the ex in twelve starts. Won in two five horse fields but not sure this race has anything special in it. #4 In Haste: Plunges second off the claim (from Proctor), even below the purchase price, and I don't think the two back race was great anyways. #2 My Jimmy Chew Girl: 2yo sprinting form was solid but may drop too far back early. Gyarmati 17 0-0-2 off the layoff at Saratoga. Race 4: #4 Boldlee: I remember thinking this one might run a sneaky race on debut and was one of many cursing our luck at a ridiculously low price second out. Was 5-2 that day against #1 who was 1-1. Odds discrepancy will be much higher this time around, mostly due to the presence of Jara which, admittedly, is a concern. #1 Tiz a Chance: Solid debut even though I feel my top choice ran better than day and hasn't been seen in 11 months. #8 Neverindicted: Dam won over this very course and distance and he should improve second time around. #6 Wicked Freud Race 5: #7 Summersault: Consistent performer on the grass and the runners she's lost to recently are just better than these. Castellano should put her in the right spot. #6 Jc's Shooting Star: Floated wide on the first turn here 2.5 weeks ago. Finished decently enough after that and gets Franco this time around. #8 Forma's Joy: Routes on a firm course for the first time and she should appreciate the two-turn 8f. #9 Donatienne $0.60 Pick Five Race 1: 3 Race 2: 1, 2, 4, 7 Race 3: 4, 7, 8 Race 4: 1, 4, 6, 8 Race 5: 6, 7, 8 $86.40 If I'm knocked out of the P5 after the first race I'll play a P4 with identical numbers. Either way I'll also play a Cover P4 2, 4/7, 8/1, 4, 6, 8/9 $9.60. I do like #6 J'ray's Sunshine in the last, but if later on I decide I really like anything else in the second half of the card I'll post them here as a reply. Good luck! |

![]() Thanks Steve & ADJMK...didn't think the sales work on the 2 was bad at all and when I heard the info about her being named after his daughter whose birthday was today I knew I was getting a steal at those odds. Have done well with the babies so far and hope that holds up!
Got back $93.48 for the P4...knew the P5 was in trouble when I saw the 3 at a lukewarm 2-1 with front wraps for the first time. Still almost got it done... |
