My ridiculously early pick is Fawkner. Having not run at the distance will, I hope, deter people from using him on top.

Looks like a push button horses to me and I think he has as much as chance as Hawkspur who I like very much.

Would be thrilled to see Silent Achiever win (right, ed? ) but in terms of early picks yeah... that is my boy.

Thrilled to see Steps in Time in the Tristarc Stakes!!!

Can't wait.

Predictably, Silent Achiever for me. She's been sneakily getting better with each race this prep, and the normally reserved Roger James sounds confident:

Go, girl!

Yes, and now we need one of you in the same position.

Actually Cardus... do you have a pick (or is it too early)? Would love to hear it.

It should be a heck of a day's racing from Caulfield. Tough races all day, Caulfield Cup wide open. That Kiwi mare is no joke, and Dandino might run well off of the plane.

Roger James had a nice winner this week at Caulfield, good luck to him.

So nice to see you here, Moodwalker.

R4 Jacob Pk Norman Robinson S. - No one beats Polanski.

R5. Carlton Draught Alinghi Stakes - Octavia

R6. Sportingbet Moonga Stakes - I have learned to sit out when I can't be objective so am rooting for Mic Mac, Pinwheel and Second Effort and leaving it at that.

R7 The Sprint - Spirit of Boom (Griffon underneath)

R8. David Jones Cup - I'm lost. I think I will sit this out as I don't feel confident in any decision I make here. I do like Honorius but then get all frazzled with Hvasstan, Garud, Spurtonic and HG Man.... Better for me to walk away and watch a good race. Would love to know who you all like here though!

R9 - Yellowglen Tristarc Stakes and wow this is a great field. Steps in Time / Xanadu / Peron, Red Tracer, Bennetta and Flying Snitzel

R10 Caulfield Cup - Fawkner / Hawkspur, Silent Achiever / Jet Away, Forgotten Voice, Moriarty, Royal Descent, Dandino

Good luck, everyone!

Better she's too far outside than in... I HAVE to use the forgotten girl, Dear Demi, in the 3rd spot so am switching out both Forgotten Voice (even with my favorite jockey up) and Moriarty.

Enjoy the race.
Thanks, Cardus. You too.

Good luck.

Disappointing for the Silent Achiever team. Hope she's OK.

Terrific win by Fawkner.
