Default Take Charge Indy

Take Charge Indy pulled up going into the turn in the Monmouth Cup. From Dave Grening's Twitter: @DRFGrening Stevens said he heard pop at half mile pole: believe its a suspensory left front.

ETA: WinStar reporting condylar fracture, surgery scheduled for Monday.

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...0452792&type=1 3 pics of him settling in last night from his FB page.

A tweet 'from' the horse: "Arrived at the hospital and am settled in.. Surgery set for 9am. Two screws. In and out in 25 minutes. Off to @WinStarFarm when recovered!"

Sounds like it - procedure took 30 min and he's in good shape - Winstar announced his retirement earlier this afternoon

Great job by Stevens getting him pulled up and getting him out of trouble before the situation became disasterous.

Guess who's going home? So glad to hear first about St. Nicholas Abbey's progression, then this.
