7/27: Saratoga (Curlin; Irish Linnet)
Anticipated weather armageddon never materialized Thursday and every notion in anticipation of it was wrong. Uggh. Upsets by Shug's Sea Island ($33.60) and Matt Peebles' The Party's Here ($50.00) triggered another monster P4 ($7k for .50) early on and attempts to get big prices in the number during late turf action fizzled. All in all an irksome day that proves you're best served capping for a fast track and adjusting when it comes up mud and off/turf... not the other way around. Sorry for the bad direction.
