The field all diving to the right behind them is really something, I would love to see this shot about 1 second later. Shame it happened but it is one hell of a picture.

Great shot... fantastic that the photographer captured the split second, etc., BUT I would rather see something like well... look...

I am not being a kiss ass, I understand drama, I like Coil but it's not like I'm a huge and outspoken fan... it's just it doesn't always have to be the impending doom shot to me.

There are a couple on this random thread just to make my point... they are lovely, show movement, expression, art, the moment... I looked for Revidere in members and clicked on a random thread and alas... just for a visual to show the kind of thing I prefer when how many times in the past decade or so has it been that other kinda thing?

Yeah I saw that last night. Wasn't sure if there was any more news today.

I'll do some looking and see what I can come up with. He looked to have a lot of potential and hope he's o.k.

He has an open fracture of the hock, and I heard it didn't look good, but they were going to try. I've heard no update yet. Racing career over for sure.

Edit: Here you go, BloodHorse updated this hour: stable, no surgery today (they are waiting)

Leparoux is SO lucky that disaster happened before he was thrown head first into the starters stand just up the track.

McPeek was with him last night and also again this morning when Dr. Bramlage and Dr. Ruggles X-rayed his pelvic bone, and found the x-ray to be normal, it was reported in a release. There were no fractures or breaks of the pelvic bone which is very good. Here Comes Frazier has a comminuted or “multi-piece” fracture of the right hock (tibia bone), not a compound fracture as previously thought. There is also a line on the big bone just below the tibia which is the Talus bone. They have not been able to determine if this is a fracture or crack or not. They are going to X-ray that bone again in a day or so.

here's hoping that everything turns out well with the horse.

This game is too good to have another spill, or flying dismount, win an Eclipse for photography.

A borderline life-threatening injury but at least the horsie wasn't abused by a whip before racing. Sorry about that, bettors. I'm sure you understand being disingenuous pantywaists is far more important than your support.

You're welcome.
