Who says they need days and weeks and months before suspensions are given out? Dettori rode favorite Blue Bunting in the Investec Oaks this morning and dropped his hands before the wire, allowing him to be caught out for third by longshot Izzi Top.

Suspended on the spot (before the next race could even go off), and will now miss the last two days of the Royal Ascot meeting and the Irish Derby meeting as a result. Ten days suspension in all.

Swift justice...deserved. I like the quick trigger pull.
