![]() OLDSMAR, Fla. (January 6, 2011) Due to unforeseen technical difficulties affecting the Tampa Bay Downs television signal, the Oldsmar oval was forced to cancel its Thursday afternoon program. Customers who had placed wagers, purchased programs or paid for Clubhouse admission were given rain checks. Horses slated to run on the afternoon’s card after scratches were announced will have a cancellation star.
Live racing will resume on Friday, January 7 with a ten race card; there is a Pick Six carryover of $8,612.01 going into tomorrow’s program. |

![]() They had some feed problems on Sunday too that delayed a race for about 20 minutes.
They need to get their **** together, but I am sure the Poker Room is up and running strong today. ![]() |

![]() Scav or Cannon can answer better than I, but I think it gives them a preference to get into the next race they enter, i.e. they move to the front of the line and are guaranteed a spot in that race.
Similar to what they do with A.E. horses that don't draw in, they always get in the next time they enter. |

![]() That's pretty much it - they get the next date for the condition -
The one's that really get screwed are the horses that scratched when they announced they were off the turf - cause they do not get the star, they lose their date, just like the race had been run. |

There is no rhyme or reason at all. I will say they are actually bringing races back the next day that have 40 entries (mdn 32k on the turf for example) |
