![]() Vincent Timphony, the former trainer who won the first Breeders’ Cup Classic with Wild Again in 1984, died on Monday.

![]() Sad. Had only just this morning heard on ATR that he had been removed from life support. Thoughts go out to his friends and relatives.
Only two years ago we lost Wild Again (shortly after my avitar photo was taken). Now horse and trainer are reunited, young again. Scarlet Timphony said her ex-husband was a character who loved his friends, racing fans, and the game to which he devoted his life.
