Shirreffs' barn is really fan friendly when it comes to Zenyatta. I've visited the big mare a couple times at HP and every time I've been allowed access to photograph her and feed her peppermints. This is the kind of stuff that's good for racing, allowing fans access to the stars of the sport.

If there are any DTers in southern California that would like to visit her but don't normally have access to the backside at the track, I'll be down at HP on December 1st and would be happy to help get you access to see her, just PM me and we can discuss the details.

I think this is great and it's great that Team Zenyatta allows access to her, and if I was in the area of So. CA, I'd take you up on the offer. How very kind of you.

Having access works okay for some horses and not for others. A lot of horses don't want to be bothered. They're not all "hail fellow, well met" like Zenyatta.

Pshaw! Like I care what someone thinks about my opinion. I really don't know how anyone can dislike Zenyatta. I just never liked her wussy connections who feel the prizes should just fall at her feet no matter what she does. She was capable of accomplishing success in much better campaigns the past 3 years.

As time goes on, that becomes more apparent.

Sadly.
