![]() With less than two weeks to the Breeders' Cup, horseplayers must make a difficult decision to just wait until then or keep swinging. I fall under the keep swinging category. There's just too many good races to wager on these next two weeks with NY Showcase day, Keeneland, and Oak Tree at Hollywood on tap today.
Keeneland - Full fields of (12 - 9 - 14 -12) make up the late PK4, which obviously has the potential for a handsome payoff. POST SCRATCHES R7 – Alw 51k N2X (Turf 5.5F) (Turf sprints are usually the most difficult to handicap and with the #2, #4, #5, #7, & #9 being need the lead types just adds to the dilemma) #3 Creek Girl (7-2) – Look for her to sit right off the pace before making her move. #12 Ocean Surge (5-1) – Cuts back and capable of negotiating a trip from the outside. 3RD #6 Wild About Marie (10-1) – HOO shipper will save ground under Borel. 4TH #7 Connie Mac (Ire) (3-1) – Has the best chance of the speed to stick around late. R8 – OC 100k / N$Y #8 Sweet Lorena (3-1) – Just missed by a neck versus two Breeders’ Cup fillies. 2ND #3 Coulee (12-1) – Kept nice company lines on the turf and the turnback should help. 3RD #6 Perfect for You (6-1) – 2 of 3 career wins have been on this surface. #7 Lady’s Laughter (4-1) – Hard to ignore anything from Charles Lopresti (4 for 5 at the meet) R9 – G2 Raven Run #11 Kitty in a Tizzy (8-1) SINGLETON - She’s improved tremendously since being switched to Poly at WO and comes off a nice 2nd behind the talented Biofuel in the G3 Selene. This looks to be her preferred distance and she’s versatile enough to adapt to any pace scenario. 4TH #13 Much Rejoicing (12-1) – Lightly raced and should improve off 2nd start of a break and it doesn’t hurt that she won an Alw race at the distance at KEE this spring. #4 Negligee (6-1) – Both career wins have come at KEE, including the G1 Alcibiades #8 Red Hot Buddha (8-1) – Amoss knows how to place them and adds the blinks. R10 – Md 80k #3 Parse (6-1) – Adds the hood after stumbling at the start in debut and still passed some rivals late. WON $8.20 #9 Southern Minx (5-1) – Drops from MSW after three tries and has shown brief speed. #5 Cat in the Bag (8-1) – Caught a sloppy sealed track at HOO in debut and finished 3rd. 4TH #11 Broadway Tune (12-1) – Kenneally 1ster has been working steady since mid August. PK4 – 3 6 7 9 12 / 1 3 6 7 8 9 / 11 / 3 5 9 11 = $60 ($.50 play) Oak Tree @ Hollywood POST SCRATCHES R4 – Clm 20k #2 Summer At Delmar (8-5) WON $3.80 #6 My Last Tycoon (10-1) #3 Nepobedimiy (3-1) 3RD R5 – Md 32k #8 Renewing (15-1) #1 Aguirre Entry (1a Doc Can Dance) (4-1) 3RD #4 Tak Gamo (6-1) 4TH #7 Big Son of a Gun (5-2) 2ND R6 – Clm 25k N2L #6 Scored (3-1) 3RD #5 Camicory (2-1) WON $4.80 #2 SCR #1 Exuma (5-1) 4TH R7 – Clm 50k (Turf 6F) #4 SCR #6 Halloween Candy (9-5) WON $2.60 #3 SCR #1A Come Home Quick (5-2) 2ND R8 – Jack Goodman 55k #1 Premier Pegasus (12-1) WON $13.00 #4 Awesome Patriot (5-2) #6 Clubhouse Ride (3-1) 3RD #2 Celestic Night (4-1) 4TH R9 – MSW 38k (Turf 6F) #5 Born Flirt (3-1) 2ND #1 Orangeblackandgold (2-1) 4TH #4 Town Belle (5-1) 3RD #3 SCR PK6 – 2 3 6 / 1 4 8 / 6 / 6 / 1 4 / 1 5 = $72 PK4 – 5 6 / 1 4 / 1 4 / 1 4 5 = $12 ($.50 play) Good Racing Luck

![]() Rockin In Dixie is a huge overlay in the 6th at Keeneland. Totally stopped last out while moving well and dropped back. I'm in at 12-1.
