Default Congrats! You're the new trainer, part deux

Cheers to you, you now train Rail Trip.

What's the plan?

Where's he going and why?

If he's in any kind of shape, he goes in the BC Sprint, because his best races were his first two (6f in 1:07+, 6.5f in 1:13+).

Aside from a dream setup in last year's Hollywood Gold Cup (realistically he should have been in the 7f Triple Bend after defeats by Ball Four and Informed), it's been all downhill--and a lot of hype--ever since.

I'd offer to give him to Juan Carlos Guerrero as long as I can stay on as the program trainer - and I'd offer JC the Impaler 90% of the day rate and 8% of the 10% in the money cut trainers get if he trains him for me.

That would leave me making 10% of the day rate and 2% of the ITM to basically pick spots for the horse once the hop artist tells me he's right.
