![]() But there sure have been quite a few horses at PID with wide trips who get the comment "rail" in their running line.
* Livingstonbell ran on Aug 17th against an inside-speed favoring track. He's the exact kind of horse you look for .. a wide post and wide trip against a very slow pace - and yet he still manages to pass and outrun several horses. However, his comment in the DRF says "closed willingly, rail" As you can see - he's the grey horse and he was 6 wide on the first turn... ![]() Six wide on the backstretch .... ![]() And five wide on the far turn.... ![]() After his extremely wide trip last out while supposedly racing on the "rail" - he was bet down strongly from his 8-to-1 morning line and easily won todays first race by a couple lengths paying $7.80 to win. ![]() |

![]() Who does the sheets for that track? Obviously someone that should'nt be.

![]() Its pretty clear who wants to be doing the sheets and handicapping on track.
|
#4
|

![]() To be fair, the full chart did say 6 wide until the stretch, then rail. He never really was on the rail, maybe 2-3 wide at best before drifting back out.

![]() Its not about being fair though...Its about Doug wanting the on track job.

![]() Then he should send this to Equibase, not post it on Derby Trail. They actually take criticsim very well there if presented properly and respectfully and work to fix it.

![]() Yeah there's nothing better than doing someone's job for them and it's even better when you don't get paid to do it.
Send it to Equibase, Doug. |

![]() It would certainly do him more good than posting it on Derby Trail. I actually know the guys at Equibase and if Doug could show he could do a better job, they'd be interested.

![]() I wouldn't make a pimple on a good chart callers ass. I've been in the room with them as a race goes... it would take me a half an hour to do something they routinely do in five minutes.

![]() Or perhaps it is about some people actually being interested in posting potentially useful information about handicapping on a website devoted to horse racing.
What an interesting concept. |

![]() No its Dougs attack on my close personal friend. A fellow DT member, it hurt me to have to read it, and I wanted to show everyone what Doug really is. |
