![]() But there sure have been quite a few horses at PID with wide trips who get the comment "rail" in their running line.
* Livingstonbell ran on Aug 17th against an inside-speed favoring track. He's the exact kind of horse you look for .. a wide post and wide trip against a very slow pace - and yet he still manages to pass and outrun several horses. However, his comment in the DRF says "closed willingly, rail" As you can see - he's the grey horse and he was 6 wide on the first turn... ![]() Six wide on the backstretch .... ![]() And five wide on the far turn.... ![]() After his extremely wide trip last out while supposedly racing on the "rail" - he was bet down strongly from his 8-to-1 morning line and easily won todays first race by a couple lengths paying $7.80 to win. ![]() |
