When he broad casted for the Penguins, he would often stop by the OTB near the airport for a few races. I sat with him a few times, he is good guy and a very good handicapper. He still is on local radio shows before the big race days giving out his predictions.

I sat next to him at the handicapping contest at the Wynn a couple of years ago. A very nice guy and a sharp handicapper.

He was actually pretty funny. He had a guy with him who would go to the window and make all of his bets so he never had to leave his seat. he also bet everything running so he must have played 100 races a day. He loved the action.
