Default Garrett Gomez at Monmouth

Not a 3 day stretch Gomez is going to remember. It was capped off by being unseated in the 11th today.

Saturday

R1 – 2nd at 2-1

R4 – 8th at 9/5
R5 – 1st at 4/5 (3.60)
R6 – 3rd at 9-1
R7 – 3rd at 2-1
R8 – 9th at 8/5
R9 – 7th at 8-1
R10 – 8th at 9/5
R11 – 10th at 6-1
R12 – 3rd at 5/2

Sunday
R3 – 7th at 7-1
R4 – 6th at 9/5
R5 – 8th at 9/2
R7 – 4th at 7/2
R8 – 5th at 2-1
R9 – 1st at 6/5 (4.40)
R10 – 7th at 5/2
R11 – 8th at 7/2

Monday
R2 – 7th at 5/2
R3 – 4th at 2/5
R4 – 2nd at 2/5
R5 – 2nd at 8/5
R6 – 6th at 8/5
R8 – 3rd at 6/5
R9 – 7th at 12-1
R11 – DNF at 5/2

His ROI for Week 2 was an amazing $0.28 and most importantly, he may have cost Frank Mirahmadi his job on TVG.

I saw the incident in question - you can't be serious, right?

By the way... his ROI in all dirt races (not inclusive of synthetic)... $0.86.

I was kidding. I don't use emoticons, but that might have been a good occasion to do so.

In all seriousness, I think he might still be hurt from that opening day spill, he's just not good right now at all.

LOL. It was pretty funny on his part, I have to admit. I think he was done with his shift, anyways.

I think he's not adjusting quick enough to regular dirt. Just went through my charts of this first two weeks- he's too far back on a lot of his mounts relative to their running style and odds. Even though speed hasn't been as dominant as it used to be at MTH, it's still not Polytrack.

Wow, great post. Welcome to the board, words can't express the contribution you have made around here in only 10 posts.

Keep up the great job......

Is it a secret that Gomez has a drug problem? He's not getting any younger, has always had trouble with his weight, and now has a mountain of cash. All of this is a recipe for disaster.

Plus some of his rides the past few months have been mind-boggling.

One reads a lot of idiocy on the internet, but I have to say, you have reached the heights of stupidity faster than any poster I have ever seen.

What a creep.

I truly regret that the bar you set so very high has been raised even further.
