Very sharp 3-year-old filly for Frenchie Cobra Venom today. Bet off the board today after a nondescript debut six months ago at HOL, went on to win by 8 or 9 in 1:21.67. One worth keeping an eye on.

I demand to know why this horse was 6-1 ML and we didn't get the RHT 10,000,000,000 star lock given her sire, the incomparable Giant's Causeway.

I demand to know why Patrick Biancone is permitted, with the aid of the Gulfstream morning line maker, to put horses over like this.

This was a disgrace. Shameful. She was obviously live and everyone at the track knew it or she would not have been bet to 7-2.

But she looked wicked.

She opened up at 6-5 I believe. I don't know if you can automatically blame the M/L maker though. Who can say what he knew?

Forgot about that thread. Oh that BWS. Should've included some complaining about how many people there were in the winner's circle.

I will never forget that thread. It is easily in my top 5 favorite all-time horse racing threads on the internet.

But to clarify, yes, definitely joking.

Speaking of Gulfstream...anyone find some light payoffs today?

Races 2-4 winners paid $28.40, $5.20, and $28.40

$2 pick 3 paid $647.60, but the $2 parlay was at $1,022.40?

Just speculating, but figure that the middle leg was little more than a 2-horse race, so doubt there was a HUGE deal of spreading in that leg, not killing lots of tickets. Or at least that's how it looked to me.

And I'd imagine you got much closer to the 6-1 morning line on Fire Chief in the pick-3 than the 13-1 win pool odds.

I figured as much, I just didn't bother looking at the ML odds for the races. I was just scanning results is all and it looked a little light.

The mother of this horse was an absolute beast when she was on her game. I suppose few will remember her because she raced in the seeming racing dark ages that was the early 2000's... and was so fragile that she never raced long enough to accomplish anything.

She won the 2nd start of her career in alw race at Saratoga by 11 lengths with a triple digit Beyer going 1st time Asmussen.
