I will gladly take a top 50 for Joker and the Cats! They pulled off a couple of last minute gems (at least from the UK perspective). Progress is slow, but it's progress nonetheless......

Mizzou was #21, which is outstanding for them.
Unfortunately, Oklahoma (#7) and Texas (#3) brought in great classes again, so it seems like the best we can hope for over the next few years is to win the Big-12 North, and then get stomped in the conference championship game like in '07 and '08. I have mixed emotions about the talk of Mizzou leaving the Big-12 and going to the Big-10. I would hate to see the old Big-8 rivalries broken up, but I do think their chances at winning a conference championship in football would improve a little. After all, they actually brought in a higher ranked class than Ohio State this year.

I see Notre Dame is 14th. Not bad for Kelly's first year. I usually don't follow the recruiting process that closely. It's great to have highly rated recruits. But it doesn't do you any good if you can't coach them. Hopefully Kelly and his staff can.
