Default Where is Tapeta Farms?

I got a work notice for one of my watch horses and it was at Tapeta Farms. Anyone have any info on it? Is it like alot of other training facilities where the dirt is much deeper than that of most race tracks?

It's Dickinson's place in all seriousness

Premier Thoroughbred training facility located on the uppermost eastern shore of Maryland featuring the Tapeta training surface.

Tapeta Farms is Dickinson's place. He uses his own training surface and it's not dirt...

It's in Maryland.

What is funny is that you guys say you copy GPK when in turn you are all CROPPING my stuff

Another scavism for ya, Croppin, as in "using or copying something of someone's else"; also refered to in the old school as "biting one's style"

The biggest thing to know about Tapeta workouts is that there is no clocker there. Whatever the topography (uphill/downhill), configuration (dogs, etc..), surface (Tapeta, grass, woodchips?), distance.....Remember that Dickinson himself calls in the workouts.

A really good friends family has three or four with Dickinson now and I can tell you the workout patterns are nuts. From 3f to 9f and on different surfaces. You can't make heads or tails of it. The owner doesn't even try to ask. He is a good trainer.

Bottom line....if he reported a work the horse is atleast somewhat sound, outside of that, I am not sure you can tell much.
