I'm surprised you went... after you warned me about Troy (where I've stayed the last two years when I've visited Saratoga). The place I stayed at is 3 or 4 blocks from where Trampled By Turtles played. Yeah, this neighborhood is a little rough around the edges... but all you have to say is, "No thanks, I'm cool," when they try to sell you drugs.

Great band... they'll be playing in California early next year.

Why? It's a pretty run of the mill tour schedule.

The Chicago show's current placing all by itself in the middle of that run is the only thing that stands out as even remotely odd.

The rest of the dates are just broken down into strings of logical regional dates, accounting for the fact that venues don't always book on the ideal night and you wind up backtracking from time to time.

We're down in Troy all the time.. Didn't think it was an obvious choice for accomodations for a Saratoga visit.

Damn they rack up miles. Madison Wisconsin to Indy overnight. I made that trip several times when I lived in Indy, geesh.
