![]() The $350k Belmont P4 on Saturdays was a hit, and NYRA is upping the guarantee for the Toga version to $500,000.

![]() BTW, just wanted to drop a note of thanks to you Steve. Before I started listening to the show, I NEVER played the multi-wagers. Now it's about 80% of my bankroll (seems like I heard this recently too) and some days it is all I play. Lots of kudos to you and the guests for showing me the light and all the analysis around the cards and now the DRF ticketmaker is out there too. I'm really pushing the local tracks to take note of this and spice up their wager opportunities (better PK4's, adding PK5 or 6, etc) next meet, since they have the slot money to help with the funding.

![]() Have any of these guarantees ever been paid to a small number of winners, 1,2 or ten, where it made a huge change in the payoffs????
If the pools 400,000 and there are 4,500 winning tickets, its nice the track kicks in an extra 100,000 to make a 500,000 guarantee but it really isn't much of a difference in the payoff, what 20 some dollars???? |
