Default 6/18: Hollywood ($125k C/O)

Was rolling through the Belmont card adroitly Wednesday before the tricky 7th (Titan of Industry) stopped my run. Previously though, the $240+ early P4 was a winner for $48 which more or less guaranteed a profit for the afternoon. The P4 was nearly a bigger score with 2nd choice (Best Value) Thunder Minister coming agonizingly close to catching top tab (Most Likely) Lemon Shore. Thunder Minister was 18-1 and would have tripled the Quad payout. The $56 exacta ($1) was OK.

Tagg-Lael's Rollers, in whom I had no interest, blew out the feature, recapturing some of his lost luster from recent outings. The nightcap saw top pick (Most Likely) Chick in Slacks taken down in favor of the third choice (Next Best) Pea Stone from Bruce Levine and prominent Albany, NY area owner Roddy Valente. Behind those two came Nurse Kiki (Super Add) and American Prayer (Best Value as 1st time turf from Tom Bush), for all the necessary elements of the $381 Super ($1).

Hope you did well Wednesday... $125k Carryover at Hollywood this afternoon as weather turns nasty in the Eastern half of the country for the duration of the week (!).

This one looks tough...could go sideways right off the bat in race 3, or could be chalky. I see a few $10 horses winning this one and it paying around $15k

This one either takes short $$$$ to hit, or more $$$$ than I've got. That said, I'm opting for short $$$$.

Here goes...

Race #3) 3 6 / 5 11 / 3 / 1 5 / 2 6 / 7 15 = $64

Good Luck!!

$522,000+ double carryover pool heading into Friday evening at the 'Wood.

With that and the CD evening card, should be a lot of fun.

Thx guys... Was a fun, challenging day.

That photo cost $400+ in the P4, which would have paid for the P6 ticket. Plus, it's tough to have had one of the $30+ winners and the right single in Delta Storm and come away with nothing. Leaving the other import out of the 5th was the key misstep in not getting a conso.

Another great job Steve!

The amazing roll continues. That was a brutal beat in the finale.

Thanks again for all the hard work and inputs.

Not sure if you were watching, but 1 tix was alive with the 9 in the last for a $500k score.

Heck of a day of racing. Looking forward to Churchill under the lights and the double carry at the 'Wood.

Reminds me of my Belmont P4. Had the right $25 or so horse (Summer Bird) and the right single (Munnings) but didn't have Gabby's Golden Gal or whatever her name is. I don't collect $8500 or whatever it was. Kick in the groin. Already capping the $522k
