I Have 1 Carnera In My Pick 4, He Wins The ****ing Race And I'm Out Of Pick 4 B/c Of A Rule? Purse Only? Thats The Biggest Bull**** I've Ever Heard In My ****ing Life! How Can I Get Whored Like That. Somebody Please Explain This Rule To Me. I'm Really Pissed Right Now. I Gd Better Not Complete The Other 3 Races Or It's Dahmer Time! Ok I Now Say Ny Racing Is Dumb As ****! We all know the rationalle for the rule of purse money only, I think. The fair way to handle multi-race bets would be to issue refunds IMO. If you bet the P4 @ Pinny with the 1 then you would get a refund....

Actually CeeJay, thats what happened to me. I bet all three entries in my Grand Slam combo. As of race three the machine was showing scratches, but not showing any parts of these entries as being scratched.

They just paid a consolation Pick 3, so it would figure they'll split the Pick 4 pool as well.

I agree with Whorstman and I also understand the rational behind what they do BUT they have to able to come up with a better way to handle the situation. You have serious cappers that had the pcim 4 or 3 and lost because of this rule.

They should at least have a 5 minute delay and give people the choice to either turn their tickets back in or play with the remaining entry.

That's really a bum deal!

If the scratch occurs before Leg A is run, no question refunds should be made, and start delayed if needed....

imagine you are betting 1A and he is 10 times the horse 1 is.
they scratch the good part and leave you with no consolation

or if you put $10k on the entry and something happens and they scratch the horse you bet. I imagine there are a ton of bettors that were unable to get their ticket cancelled.

I understand the rule and I appreciate it

although I believe a better solution is

no coupled entries

then we would have everyone complaining that something else was a problem

Now you're talking. If I were running things there would be no coupled entries. I hate them!!
