Any idea why they didn't adjust their schedule to make the Miracle Wood stakes part of the Magna sequence, instead of this crappy 10K claimer?

The Laurel race is kind of a mess. There's 5 horses in the field cross-entered in other races this weekend, (4 of which are part of a double entry) so it's impossible to handicap until you know who is running where.
UPDATE: For the 1st entry, Toccet Ruler is running in Friday's race at Laurel; Dance with T will run Saturday.

The two Santa Anita legs don't look that tough, and Golden Gate has offered another ridiculously evenly-matched small field, although I think you can narrow it down to 2 or 3.

Having the Fountain of Youth in the sequence is the wildcard. Most people will probably go widest on this leg, which may prompt me to just use my top 3choices.

It's always a pain in the a-s-s race. About as much fun as eating oranges with mayo on them.
