i went today and bet on the derby future pool
i noticed it said it was open from thursday to sunday
the horse that i bet was 12-1
my question is
am i locked in with my horse at 12-1
or after sunday is complete
do thay tabiolate all the money and come out with new odds on monday and whatever my odds are from there is what i got?

Outside, You'll end up with the odds at closing time, which is 6pm Eastern on Sunday.

Bogey is corect.. my question is

is 12-1 good enough odds to justify the risk? I wouldn't take anything less than 40-1 this far away from the big day

Of the 5 horses that are 12-1 m/l, 4 of them; Stardom Bound, Midshipman, Vineyard Haven, and This ones for Phil are all, more likely than not, not even going the derby trail route.

Midshipman and Vineyard Haven are in Dubai, pointed to the UAE Derby on 3/28; and SB realistically ought to go the Oaks route, I'm sure cooler heads will prevail there; and TOfP is a sprinter..... I hope you bet Friesan Fire.

Default i bet stardom bound

and here is why
1st of all this horse owes me nothing
i had her when she one her 1st race
and profited 165
then i had her next time out when she paid 13 dollars
but i also got lucky in race when i bet her on top with 3 horses in 10 exactas
one of my 3 came second [placido a amour]and went off 47-1
the exacta payed 588
so i won close to 3400 on that bet
then in the breeders cup
those tow again hooked up and i bet a 50 exacta
which payed i beleive
36
so the horse owes me nothing

in the future i bet 100 to win on her
and my reasoning is this
after she won her last race
her connections said the path for her is to rum in the sanra anita derby
then he said [if she runs well not win but runs well]shell be pointed for the derby
so if she runs bad
im out 100
if she run good 1st or 2nd
her races are over until the derby
and there is no way she will be better then 12-1 if they put here in there
esp. against this group
with the close to 48oo i won on her last year
i am fine with takingg a flyer with her at 12-1
if shes in she wont see 10 to one
