Default Track People?

Track workers, jockeys, trainers, independently wealthy owners...what do they all do on a day like today, which was supposed to have racing?

I'm interested in hearing how people spent their day without having the track to take up their day.

Tim,

When I was a Teller at Beulah, and also when I spent many a day and evening at Beulah when I should have been working (nevermind) the majority of the grooms, muckers, track workers etc would be found near the alcohol. The trainers that actually were successful would be working, imagine that. please excuse my laziness with the proper use of spelling and the caps key.

Just another day for the "common" folk & just another party for the well-to-do.
