Wink Saturdays Baby Race(4) at the Big A

Ton of interesting twists and angles exist in this race. Lets start with the 1 from a no-name trainer who 8 days ago ran this colt with GG Richards . Ran a sneaky good trip that the charts really do not reflect. Comes back with a + rider switch. At 15-1 worth a play.
The "Chief" sends out the 4 who ran an awful number in his debut with "double bug" Santiago. After two subsequent good works Prado is now aboard. I wonder what this is all about.
Finally the 9 McLaughlin/Garcia (30%) team up with a firster that popped 26 ft stride length in March 2YO in training sale . Fair work tab. Kiaran has a 20% debut number .
1-4-9 are the three I am going to play with

Tough race to start the carryover of the pick 6. Baffert's colt looks to show speed with Johnny V. opting for this one, but Coa wins at a 30% clip for Pletcher and this one shows several nice gate drills. Prado and the Chief are zero for nine this year, but this one smells funny after a 35.1 blowout two days ago. I agree McLaughlin may have the winner as this one is likely to run them down through the lane. Mr. Warren only buys about three a year and they always seem to be runners.

I can not disagree about the Pletcher/Coa horse! I really struggled with tossing this one out. I love 1st time Coa mounts..ALWAY a live play ! Work tab is solid .Lets not forget the $600k yearling price tab for a Friends Lake , 40x's the stud fee! BUT I think since Saratoga Todd is punching at 12% rate:..OUCH !
