Default Rare Blend

Interesting spot for Never Retreat to make her turf debut. Has some pedigree which suggests she just may take to the grass. Anyone else fancy her chances in here tomorrow?

Her best chance to win a race is sprinting on the dirt.

Good call Kevin....though the price was terrible. But, she always gets bet, and I never know why. Today they were right.....and I was wrong.

"Nima's Pad" means what? Her personal napkin, or her house?

Thanks guys. I stuck to my gut with this one and made a very nice double score with her. I would have had an even better day if Pay Wright or House Quest could have gotten by Blue Hill Bay in the 5th that would have given me a nice pick 3 with Never Retreat singled on the end.

In a full field of horses that were well-matched and pre-qualified for the task, 5-1 was a meager price on a horse being asked to do something it had never done (turf) AND something it had done not so well (route). There were several in there that were 'better' plays based on price. The 12-1 ML was right, and as a straight bet seemed acceptable to about 8-1.

I have been feeling very guilty of late, so I gotta come clean here ya'll...in an effort to boost my board/handicapping credibility.

Not only did I hammer the DD with Never Retreat, but I had the late pick 3 for $250 straight, the late 4 for $100 and I had 4 of 6 on the pick 6 eleventy seventeenhundred times.

I didn't want to say anything at first about all the I made, but it's painfully obvious that redboarding is now the "in" thing to do around here. I do hope ya'll can forgive me for not coming clean earlier.
