it was an ugly game today, lsu should have won. but the 'pass interference' call that wasn't, that returned a pick to arkansas, certainly didn't help. or the stupidity of the lsu player who drew the unsportsmanlike for kicking the football.

but next year looks brighter...but first, maybe we can win the independence bowl.

The future looks bright.

And this is the part that surprisingly isnt getting talked about a whole lot. There were holes in this defense that havent been seen in years and i didnt see any players coming up that are going to get better and fill them.

The bottom line is that the level of athletic talent has taken a marked drop off in the last couple of recruiting classes. At least, that is what it is looking like.

It plays out on the field. I dont claim to know a whole lot about LSU football except what I see and frankly i dont really care.

I looked out on that field a few times and i didnt see any Dorseys or landrys and i didnt see any that would develop into that. The defense was soft and uninspired but for stretches. 31 points to Arkansas? And troy??

Maybe they should have let Les go to Michigan. At least then he could blame it on rebuilding.
