Whew! Made it through Saturday night with a safe second and my two longshot tries off the board. Gotta build up that bankroll but can't afford to take TOO many longshots or will be eliminated. A problem requiring nice judgment.

I should have been eliminated yesterday, when I had three off-the-board runners. Yet today I went to the site, it said I was still active, so I picked some horses and their money was added to my bankroll. Weird, huh? It says I am in #169th place.

Still plugging along with low earnings. Keep trying to hit a price and missing; only my 'safe' ones that are 2/1 or less even hit the board. Is it just me, or has the Meadowlands racing gotten a bit more random since the meeting started?

Well, I did it. I survived the entire meeting. Not that I will win
anything for it - I am sitting 132nd out of 190 survivors as of Friday night and not likely to climb any higher. But I got a 3rd in the first contest race Saturday, so I know I survived. Huzzah.
