Nice horse but if i were playing (and not being sentimental cause am rooting for Al Qasi), I'd go with Dunelight. Nice odds. Looks like a winner to me anyway...

Dunelight loves Goodwood, but if he can give weight to a Gr1 filly over what would seem to be her best trip then I would be very shocked. She has run brilliantly in two Gr1's over a trip that stretches her.

On form there is nothing to suggest Dunelight can get within three or four lengths of her. If this was a handicap, she'd be carrying 4lbs more than Dunelight, but because of the conditions of this race, she is actually recieving 10lbs from him....... so she is 14lbs well in with Dunelight, that's a stone!!!!!!!

Straight Forecast: £99.97 Exacta: £108.50 Trifecta: £646.90
Analysis: Infallible was a warm order here, bringing placed Classic form to the table and the drop in trip expected to suit. It didn't, as she failed to quicken off the fast pace set by Dunelight, unlike the winner PACO BOY and runner-up Stimulation. Richard Hannon's charge hadn't been seen since he was seventh in the French 2000 Guineas, but connections were bullish beforehand and their confidence proved to be justified. Richard Hughes settled his mount prominently, just on the heels of Dunelight, and he went to the front a furlong out always holding Stimulation who trod a similar path. A step up back to a mile should hold no fears for the winner or the runner-up. This was another good effort from Dunelight who remains in good form following a winning effort at Windsor last time. Il Warrd was tapped for toe at a crucial stage but finished his race quite well.

For whatever reason (most likely Brock's explanation) she didn't run her race today. On a form line through the horse that beat her, she has run almost three stone below her best.

I must admit, I really fancied her. Everything looked to suit and judging on her home work (saw her last piece of work and it was brilliant) I thought she would be okay.

She never picked up, suggesting that she has gone over the top.

If she was fresh, she would have surely walked all over her rivals today. Ahh well, it's not the first and won't be the last loser I've bet.

On a slightly better note, the forecast on Finjaan and Bonnie Charlie got me out of a bit of trouble.

Glad you both did well.

Ummm, I'm not understanding the comments on Black Rock in (other) results.

Anyone? Hope he's alright.

I didn't even know about Black Rock, just read it now. Doesn't sound good.

I know the owner's son, so I will try and ask him if he is okay.

just got home from work:

look at this each way lucky 15 i played
Baddam - Won 11-1
Soul City - 4th - 16-1
Asfurah's Dream 3rd - 10-1
Brave Right - 4th 14-1

If Soul City had have been 3rd, it would have been an awesome payout..

Before Ascot I thought he was going to be beaten, during the race it took him an age to get going there as if he wasn't 100%.

Last night I really wanted to lay him, but there was nothing in the race I could see beating him.

That was the most impressive performance I think he has ever put up. Sensational.

I loved the way Johnny looked over his shoulder about a furlong out and started shaking his head as if you say "look lads, you're just not good enough"

Nijoom Dubai has been out of form so far this year but the drop in grade should help her, you can get 20/1 over here mmsc. Visit ran very well last time when not fancied at all, I would love to see her win a nice race but so many times she finds one too good for her.

Red Dune is a rapidly improving filly and it's anyone's guess to how good she might be.

Cheyenne Star should be underestimated and although she has a penalty, she has conditions to suit and the in form Johnny Murtagh on board and at around 7/1, she provides the best ew value.
