![]() That story may need some updating, as Steve mentioned over on the selections board:
FYI.. Re: the DMR signal on Xpressbet.. Restricted as of now in California, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming. ... Sounds like TVG is looking to be able to carry some of the TrackNet signals in exchange for letting the Del Mar signal out. Doesn't seem like an insane request, but as a bettor this whole ADW thing seems insanely counterproductive. |

![]() While I abhor exclusive agreements, there are two partners in any agreement. Both TVG and the tracks are to blame.

![]() I'm not defending TVG in general but I don't see how they are the devil in this one. They weren't the ones who started the whole " exclusivity fight ", that would be the other side I believe, and now they are protecting a valuable asset they own. It's business.

Believe me, I am not trying to defend TVG, but it is important to remember how this started.

Of course it's lousy for the bettor, that goes without saying, but that doesn't mean the facts should be distorted.

The whole thing is ridiculous and ludicrous, but I do think TVG is a huge culprit in the whole thing and fired the first shot. Here's a link to one of the many articles going back to February 2007, I could probably dig up some of the e-mails from CDI too. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m...5/ai_n27152388 |

Well, I guess if a senior CDI VP said that's what happened, I guess that's what really happened!! After all, I've heard nothing but glowing comments about CDI management! |
