Question Zaskar--Lake Placid

Would be interested in any other opinions of the trip received by this horse in her last race at Hollywood on July 5th. From the outside post she is wide into the first turn but runs stride for stride with Pure Clan (eventual winner) until the 3/8's pole where she is basically stopped. I think she may be a 'live' play today at Saratoga with the soft conditions but was curious if my eyes were deceiving me. Not sure she can win but at the juicy morning line I think she can pump up the exotics. Terranova has picked up the training duties, she puts the 'blinkers on' today and gets JR which are three other interesting changes.

First off, I agree with you about Zaskar, though I have not viewed that last race(American Oaks, Holly Jul 5TH). Where can I find a free replay of this?

I'll bet Zaskar to win, and also box with Raw Silk

Actually, she took the 1st turn in the TWO path, and sat just outside of Pure Clan (who was inside) on the backstretch.

P.S. Hollywood Park should be EMBARRASSED by the headon replay of this race. What a completely CLUELESS, UNPROFESSIONAL effort.

I kept looking at it thinking I am crazy but they cut the entire first turn and backside run out. Completely ridiculous.

10 minutes to post and Zaskar is 5-1...............not the odds we were looking for. Actually the other 'Euro' is a better price and seems to be just as capable on yielding turf. Interesting...................

I wouldn't be surprised to see Raw Silk wire 'em.

I have the #7 but think the #3 or #8 have a better shot.

Look at the start. . . also didn't get a particularly clear run in the stretch. Granted, she had an easy trip in between. Not sure if she would've won, though. . .
