Default The NYCOTB feed

Anyone else experiencing problems with the NYCOTB feed on channel 71 the last few days?

There are periods where I get nothing or I only get the audio.

Is it just me?

can't comment on the above as I am in NJ but the oddest thing was going on on 4NJBETS.com yesterday...

when you clicked on the belmont feed, they were showing races from another day...it was 5 minutes to post and they were showing the replay from race 3 from another day...at first i thought they moved the card up because of severe weather...after getting taking a deep breath, i noticed the time on the screen said 2 something, and realized they were showing odds for race 4 with 11 horses and an entry, when yesterday's race 4 only had 8 horses...

not sure when they, or if they ever, fixed the problem...

just an aside...what did charlie hayward hire his cousin and nephews to do the video for nyra? it's attrocious at best...the feed skips quite a bit and when they change camera angles they often skip to a camera that isn't even showing the race, before getting back to the correct camera...i notice this most when watching the head on replay...and those graphics? can the scratches and changes scroll any faster? and could they take up even more of the screen?

It seems as if the intent is to do away with as much of the video portion of the screen as possible; could the font be any bigger?

As for the replays:

I had very good success last year betting turf sprints. It's something I'm good at and part of my advantage comes from what I see on the backstretch in the headon angle. For some reason, this year, we're not getting the headon of the backstretch in turf sprints (and I need a zoom lens to see the stretch run in most cases). Maybe by next year we'll go the way of SA and not show the headon of the backstretch at all.

I know you can have good video and good camera angles because KEE consistently shows this to be the case. It sucks that most of the other tracks are lacking in either the presentation or the availability of their video.
