I completely agree with you on Grand Coeur in the fifth.
I don't think there is any way he'll go off at his 10-1 ML given his past poly form and his recent sharp work, but I think a WP bet on him is my top play of the day.

Why are we doing the early P4 and not the late P4?

Always some pretty hilarious races early in card

i went with the first one just because it looked easier and because i don't have a feel for things yet. the second one yesterday was wild thats for sure with a $31 horse and a $79 dollar horse. we can do whichever one you want.
no problem.

I was just curious that is all. You know as well I as I do that the first couple races at Arlington are always pretty hilarious (UNLESS YOU HAVE THE NUTS in BOB's BEAN running).

I would think from a sanity check, the last four would be better, plus, you probably get two turf races within that sequence

Singling the Alcova Kid. You're a ballsy dude.

I think he's the best, but then again, he's looked the best in a few of his races and can't seal the deal.

On paper, he's a good call for a single, but at least for ME, he's burned me too many times to put that much faith in him.

Hope it works out for you.

He gets the benefit of Block now, and there is NO ONE NEAR him on the TG. 5pts better then anyone...he will be 4/5 today my guess

I know you know Arlington, and I know you know what a difference from Geier to Block.....

I know. I understand all of that. I'm just saying while he's not been 4/5 best in any race, he's had more than his fair share of chances, and a few where he looked like the obvious winner on paper.

Obviously he's your most likely winner, I just think it still takes balls to single a horse like that. I'm not playing it today, so for your sake, I'll hope it works out -- and it likely will. It's just not a horse I personally could be that confident in, even with the paper advantage.

And I think Call Me Goer is interesting if 'Kid comes up short along with the one you listed.

BTW, how did you get hooked up with DAK? That is pretty cool that you are running commentary in the program now.....

Weird, winding story that started way back when I had just finished high school.

Had been in touch on and off, and through some blogging and the HPWS opportunity, we got back in touch. He offered me some work this summer, and I said yes. Most of it is behind the scenes file cleaning work and some research that will be coming up -- but I get to do the fun stuff from time to time too.

Thanks.

I figure I'm already obsessively following the meet, spending every free day out there, and analyzing replays to death and taking crazy notes all meet anyway, so making some extra money on the side for doing what I was going to do anyway is about as good a deal as I'm going to find.
